Título: Design and development of novel nanoproteomics approaches for biomarker characterizacion in SFC in leptomeningeas disease, bein Lymphoma non-Hodgkin as model.
IP: Dr. Manuel Fuentes García
Resumen del proyecto: The main goal of the current project is to design and develop a multiparametric methodology, with easy translation into to clinic, for the detection of tumoral associated proteins of lymphoma no-Hodgkin B cell (LNH-B) present in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)this novel approach is non-invasive and it will be designed and developed for the determination of tumoral infiltration in central nervous system (CSN) leptomeningeal metastasis (LM), by high specific and selective detection of proteins or peptides directly related with de tumor. The list of aims is: 1.- selection of biomarkers associated with LM by nanoproteomics approaches in high-throughput format. 2.- Design and development of detection kit based on color-coded beads for multiplex and simultaneous detection of biomarkers candidate by flow-cytometry. 3.- Validation of this novel protein array in peripheral blood and CSF.
Methodology: a total of 100 samples of CSF will be studied (lymphoma non-Hodgkin & Hodgkin) by cytomorphology and nanoproteomics characterization of proteins from neoplasic B cells for detection by beads suspension protein arrays in CSF. Finally, all the data will be integrated to correlated with clinical-biological data.
